Responsibilities: Leading, mentoring, and empowering a growing team of hardworking engineers to deliver against strategic business outcomes Establishing a strong and inclusive engineering culture Assist in the delivery of multiple projects across multiple platforms. Helping teams estimate, plan, and slice projects to frequently deliver value to production. Collaborate across business units and product teams spread over multiple timezones execute against the team's vision, strategy, and roadmap. Act as a change agent, initiating appropriate changes to support continuous business improvement Comfort with proactively and independently working towards results in large, distributed team environments. Qualifications: Overall experience of at least 10 years in the software development industry At least 3-5 years of people management experience, with experience managing multiple teams or one larger team Able to manage, mentor, and empower teams, including other people managers Proven leadership skills and a passion for building, maintaining, and deploying both internal business applications and highly available services Strong communication, cross-group collaboration, and interpersonal skills. The ability to flex communication style to work with business and non-technical users in addition to engineers Ability to balance priorities across multiple projects. Ability to advise and influence technical discussions and decisions. Experience with agile development practices emphasising continuous improvement.
