This role involves guiding partners in understanding our platform and integrating with AWS native services to develop big data solutions on Databricks. You will work closely with field Solution Architects and partner teams, requiring hands-on experience with AWS, SQL, Apache Spark, and other data technologies. The role focuses on helping partners design and implement workloads, aligning their technical roadmaps with Databricks' offerings, and establishing expertise in areas like data governance, data science, or streaming.

Responsibilities include:

• Driving adoption of Databricks products on AWS and supporting the partner ecosystem.
• Providing training and tutorials to enhance community adoption.
• Translating field trends and product strategies into compelling stories for customers.
• Leading strategic partners through successful big data project implementations.
• Collaborating with product teams based on customer adoption patterns.
• Developing expertise in areas such as Lakehouse, streaming, or data ingestion.
• Assisting Solution Architects with technical sales and proof of concept development.
• Contributing to the Databricks Community.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years in a technical role with expertise in AWS technologies like data engineering, data applications, or machine learning operations.
• Deep expertise in data governance, high-performance data systems, real-time streaming, or cloud data formats.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Production experience with SQL, Python, Scala, or Java, and AWS cloud.
• 3+ years working with Big Data technologies and in a customer-facing or pre-sales role.

This position can be remote; preference for candidates in the Seattle area with up to 30% travel.

Pay Range:

• Zone 1-4: $157,000—$219,775 USD
