Your responsibilities will include: Designing, implementing, and optimizing ads measurement systems Collaborating with cross-functional teams including backend engineers, data scientists, machine learning teams, and client teams within Ads Analyzing large datasets to identify patterns and inform system improvements in ads measurement Developing privacy-enduring ads measurement solutions Leading projects from zero to one, building something from the ground up Participate in in-person Nextdoor events such as trainings, off-sites, volunteer days, and team-building exercises Build in-person relationships with team members and contribute to Nextdoor's company culture What You'll Bring To The Team 7-10 years of demonstrated experience working on distributed systems Proven track record in leading large-scale projects from 0 to 1 Effective communication skills and cross-team collaboration abilities Ads domain expertise and awareness of industry trends Proficiency in problem-solving and attention to detail Experience with large datasets and multiple datastore technologies Strong coding abilities in at least one language, preferably Python or Kotlin Genuine curiosity and a hunger for learning Strong desire to serve local communities and neighbors worldwide Bonus Points Prior experience in conversion modeling or probabilistic attribution Familiarity with statistical modeling, machine learning, and data analysis Knowledge of privacy-preserving data analysis methods Rewards Compensation, benefits, perks, and recognition programs at Nextdoor come together to create our total rewards package. Compensation will vary depending on your relevant skills, experience, and qualifications. Compensation may also vary by geography. The starting salary for this role is expected to range from $190,000 to $240,000 annually, or potentially higher if your proficiency exceeds role expectations. We expect to award a meaningful equity grant for this role, with quarterly vesting starting within 3 months of your start date.
