Role Description: The Consultant will partner with a global Fortune 500 hospitality client as an advisor and project manager for consumer-facing initiatives. The Consultant will work in collaboration with colleagues and client stakeholders in multiple local and global internal functions to uncover the client’s biggest challenges and create actionable plans that drive long-term change. NOTE: This is a hybrid role with the client requirement of being onsite 2-3 days per week. Only candidates local to Washington DC will be considered. Responsibilities: Drive the strategic design, implementation and expansion of consumer-facing products and offerings. Create, execute and manage project and implementation plans inclusive of budget, clear goals, milestones, owners, outputs and outcomes. Conduct quantitative analysis from complex data sets using Excel. Develop work-focused deliverables such as PowerPoint decks, models, or other written outputs that synthesize content, data insights, approaches, and recommendations into a clear and communicable format, enabling stakeholder socialization and buy-in. Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders by demonstrating thought partnership, responsiveness, and a deep understanding of their business needs. Facilitate client meetings to engage cross-functional stakeholders to ensure awareness and input into key deliverables. Be adaptable to our clients’ dynamic business needs that may change or evolve over time. Effectively prioritize and manage time to ensure all tasks and activities are completed efficiently and all deadlines are met. Identify opportunities to expand the scope of work by surfacing unmet client needs and recommending solutions that align with North & Main’s capabilities. Serve as an ambassador for North & Main by continuously reinforcing our value and helping position the firm as a long-term partner. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree required; advanced graduate degree (e.g. MBA) preferred but not required. Commercial consulting experience in the hospitality, retail and/or CPG industries strongly preferred. Advanced proficiency in creating PowerPoint decks required; proficiency in creating other written outputs such as Excel models, training materials, FAQs, etc. Exceptionally detail-oriented with proven organization capabilities, including the ability to initiate tasks independently and successfully manage multiple parallel projects or work tracks. Adept at conducting data analysis and manipulating data in Excel. Strong quantitative problem-solving skills and rational decision making based on data, facts and logical reasoning. Proficient in creating deliverables such as models, training materials, FAQs and other written outputs. Excellent time management and flexibility to adjust based on changing priorities and client needs. Skilled in verbal and written communication, with the ability to adapt messaging to diverse perspectives and varying levels of seniority.
