The SME will provide technical, managerial, and administrative guidance for complex systems and programs, focusing on training, policy guidance, and process improvement. This position will be performed remotely, with travel to client meetings or events as needed. Core Responsibilities: Serve as a technical authority on transit data collection, validation, and reporting. Lead problem definition, analysis, requirements development, and solution implementation for complex systems. Develop and deliver training materials and sessions, applying instructional design and adult learning principles. Advise on process improvements, organizational optimization, and system maintenance. Collaborate with federal stakeholders and project leadership to address emerging needs. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in a related field; Master’s degree (MA/MS) may substitute for 3 years of experience. At least 7 years of experience in transit, transportation data, or relevant subject matter—federal or FTA experience preferred. Expertise in instructional design and adult learning principles. Proven ability to recommend and guide organization-wide improvements. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to travel as required .
