Overview Support Analyst
Temporary Employment position in UCSF's Temporary Employment Program (TEP). This is a mission critical administrative and project support role for the STD Control Branch. The position provides essential administrative support to the Budgets and Operations Unit Chief and other key personnel. Responsibilities include coordinating mandated trainings, managing inventory, supporting grant-related documentation, invoicing, and ensuring compliance with federal single audit requirements. The incumbent will work closely with all levels within the Branch in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.

Department Description UCSF\'s Temporary Employment Program (TEP) recruits and hires temporary employees for immediate clerical and technical support services to UCSF Departments and various off-campus locations. Departments deploy temporary employees to work on special projects, fill in for regular employees who are on vacation or leave, or to temporarily fill a vacant position during recruitment. Frequently temporary employees become successful candidates for career and limited appointment positions.
Required Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training
Skills to learn organization-specific and other computer application programs
Ability to use discretion and maintain all confidentiality
Basic skills to analyze and research information and learn to synthesize large amounts of data with strong attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications Acquiring knowledge of applicable policy analysis techniques
Ability to use sound judgment in responding to issues and concerns
