Base pay range $190,000.00/yr - $240,000.00/yr My client is looking for hands-on System Architect/ Technical Lead who has led architecture for systems where latency, reliability, and operator usability are core constraints. This is a hybrid role based in their East Bay headquarters and requires 3 days a week in office. Job Responsibilities: Define system architecture across backend, middleware, UI, and comms Design for high availability, state sync, and low-latency feedback loops Guide team-wide technical direction and system integrity Real-time systems, distributed architecture, API boundaries Experience balancing prototyping vs. scale Fault tolerance and synchronization models Requirements: 10-15 years of relevant experience Experience with the following software stack: Proficient in either C++, Rust, or Go Event-driven and pub/sub patterns The base salary range for this full-time position is $190,000-240,000. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
