Job Title: System-Level Engineer

Location: Bay area, CA : Hybrid (Local Only)

Job Summary:

We are seeking highly skilled System-Level Engineers with strong hands-on experience in OS internals, kernel-level programming, and device driver development. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Go programming, cloud-native technologies (Google Cloud, Kubernetes, Anthos), and automation tools such as Ansible and Puppet. This role is not intended for application-level developers. Only those with strong foundations and practical experience in low-level systems engineering will be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain system-level software, including device drivers, kernel modules, and OS-level components.
• Leverage Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to build scalable, resilient systems.
• Build and maintain infrastructure using Kubernetes and Anthos.
• Automate system configurations and deployments using Ansible and Puppet.
• Work closely with cloud infrastructure and DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration of system components.
• Debug complex system-level issues across software/hardware boundaries.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in Go (Golang) for system-level development.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and architecture.
• Deep understanding and working knowledge of Kubernetes and Anthos.
• Solid experience with Ansible and Puppet for automation and configuration management.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills at the system and kernel level.
• Ability to work in a highly collaborative and technically challenging environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience in performance tuning and optimization of system-level code.
• Exposure to other low-level languages (C/C++) is a plus.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines in a system-level development context.

Screening Criteria

• Only System-Level Engineers will be considered.
• Application-level developers will not be shortlisted.
