- Build and maintain talent intelligence: target company organization charts, compensation benchmarks, and competitive insights.
- Manage the entire recruiting lifecycle: sourcing, screening, scheduling, interview coordination, feedback, offers, and closing.
- Sell the opportunity—positioning our roles as career-defining opportunities for qualified talent.
- Deliver a high-touch candidate experience that strengthens our employer brand and keeps future hires warm.
- Ensure pipeline hygiene via our applicant tracking system (Greenhouse), ensuring data is clean, accurate, and actionable.
- Use recruiting analytics to track funnel performance, spot trends, and optimize for speed and quality.
- Stay ahead of go-to-market hiring trends, competitive moves, and emerging talent pools.
Essential Qualifications for this position include :
- 5+ years of professional work experience in talent acquisition, with a focus on recruiting GTM sales professionals (account executives, BDRs, and marketing professionals).
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
- Knowledge of applicant tracking systems (Greenhouse preferred) and other tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter to support sourcing.
- Ability to execute with attention to detail and operate with organizational skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a clear understanding of correspondence etiquette.
- Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism.
Preferred Qualifications for this position include :
- Prior professional experience conducting various talent-related operations such as onboarding.
- Prior experience working in a start-up organization.
This is a hybrid work opportunity, with teams operating from the Washington, DC office (L and 15th St. NW) at least 4 days per week. State Affairs offers a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and a meaningful equity position.
The annual salary range for this role is $122,000 to $142,000, based on experience and qualifications. Final salary and level will be determined accordingly. Benefits may vary depending on employment specifics.
