Exciting contract opportunity with an established firm is looking for a contract Technical Program Manager/Product Manager - Finance and Accounting. This is a fully remote role.
We're looking for a Junior Product Manager to support our Finance and Accounting Products initiatives. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their product career to make a real impact by helping shape the internal tools and reporting solutions that drive our client’s financial processes.
In this role, you’ll work closely with your Group Product Manager and cross-functional teams to break down strategic goals into clear product epics and user stories for our scrum team. The ideal candidate has 1 - 2 years of product management experience, thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, and is excited to learn more about core accounting functions such as general ledger management, 1099 generation, revenue recognition, and financial reporting.

Required Skills & Experience
- Experience with Agile methodologies, tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence), and ceremonies.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to drive product decisions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Self-driven and adaptable, able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities.
- 1+ years of product management experience.
- Bachelors degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related fieldor equivalent practical experience.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Hands-on experience with e-commerce accounting & billing systems such as NetSuite
- Knowledge of accounting best practices and tools.
What You Will Be Doing
Daily Responsibilities
- Under the leadership of the Group Product Manager, the product manager will organize and drive the quarterly roadmap for financial planning and accounting tools.
- Translate business goals into detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Own and prioritize the product backlog and deliver user stories.
- Partner closely with Engineering, Accounting, Finance, and Customer Relations to build, launch, and iterate on internal products.
- Monitor performance against quarterly OKRs and product launch plans.
