Join us and give new meaning to the word, “job.”Summary: As part of a mission centric, locally delivered and nationally powered organization the Territory Vice President provides transformational leadership to assigned territory and Region Executive Directors to drive business outcomes and growth. This role is accountable for providing strong leadership in driving mission and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) integration; culture and climate; executional consistency; human capital management; and strategic business growth in designated territory.While employees may be permitted to work remotely, travel to the assigned office, HUB or Satellite Offices may be required as determined by the employee’s manager and the employee’s People Organization Generalist.Accountabilities:Mission & DEI IntegrationLeads the territory’s focus on Mission initiatives and programs including patient access, education, public policy, advocacy & research.Provides organizational leadership in integrating strategy and programs to create a culture for diversity, equity, and inclusion within designated territory, coaching Executive Directors on implementing programs within specific market and region activities.Human Capital ManagementProvides strategic leadership to Executive Directors for all talent management & development initiatives such as Talent Acquisition, Performance Management, Employee Engagement, Total Rewards, Career Development and Succession Planning to ensure human capital management is consistent and effectively being managed in all regions in the territory.Partners with Senior Vice President, Revenue Delivery & Community Engagement, People Organization, and Chief DEI Officer, to strategically lead territory initiatives to implement annual strategic workforce planning for future business objectives. Leads the assessment of the key strengths and skill gaps of the current sales talent pipeline, and ensures staffing requirements are met across the territory.In partnership with Volunteer Engagement, leads and coaches Executive Directors on board development, volunteer leadership prospecting, strategic direction, mission activities, and LLS priorities and initiatives.Culture & ClimateLeads and coaches Executive Directors to identify and implement action plans to foster a climate of inclusion within market and region activities, integrating with territory and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) goals.Provides strong leadership in the identification of options for strengthening the effectiveness and efficiency of all regions within assigned territory, including staff plans, administrative systems, management procedures, facilities, and equipmentPartners with Vice President Field, Human Resources, and Chief DEI Officer, to identify territory initiatives that continually reviews feedback to assess and implement employee and volunteer engagement programs.Strategic Business GrowthCoaches Executive Directors on the development of regions’ annual / monthly budgets and financial forecasts. Provides leadership and oversight of territory financial benchmarks and goals.Provides transformational leadership to diversify future Region and Market revenue streams by identifying and cultivating high-growth, high-margin revenue opportunities by focusing on Major Gift expansion, Corporate Development & Partnerships, e-revenue, and other innovative initiatives.Leads the deployment and development of sales expertise to advance business goals; initiates strategies to develop internal talent, balancing them with external hires; targets challenging developmental assignments that build confidence and capability.Executional ConsistencyProvides strategic leadership to Executive Directors, in collaboration with all business partners to ensure campaign and business operational standards are executed and revenue goals are achieved across full territory.Leads, in collaboration with all business partners the evaluation and plan to implement organizational change initiatives seamlessly throughout territory.#LI-HybridEducation & Experience Requirements:8+ years of progressively responsible related experience with a minimum of 3 years in senior managementProven knowledge, experience, and skill in management and leadershipBachelor’s Degree preferredExcellent verbal and written communication skillsPhysical Demands & Work Environment:Weekend & evening work may be required at timesTravel throughout the territory approximately 30% of timePhysical demands are minimal and typical of similar jobs in comparable organizationsWork environment is representative and typical of similar jobs in comparable organizationsEmployee Value Proposition:As a valued member of LLS, you are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package. The offered compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, business need, market conditions, proficiencies, skills, education, and experience. Additionally, at LLS we place a high value on internal pay equity and will consider the current compensation of similarly situated roles and direct team members.
