Responsibilities Handling tax in a large, sophisticated organization requires more than a technical understanding of current tax practices. As a Seasonal Real Estate Tax Senior Manager, you will apply your knowledge to a wide range of tax areas and processes, devising strategic outcomes to complex issues. You will lead teams and work in a highly collaborative culture, where listening to and sharing information with colleagues is essential. You will provide up-to-date tax advice to clients and support business growth. Lead tax planning projects for a diverse client base in real estate, hospitality and construction industries. Analyze evolving portfolios of increasingly complex tax operations to provide meaningful business insights. Identify opportunities and risks and communicate these to clients. Develop clear, intelligent plans to improve clients\' tax activities. Research clients\' business operations and tailor advice to their needs. Supervise a motivated team, ensuring skills and opportunities for growth. Qualifications To qualify for the role you must have: A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline. Seven to ten years of real estate tax experience in a professional services environment. Extensive knowledge in a broad range of real estate tax technical and transaction skills (e.g., partnership taxation, REITs taxation and qualification, partnership allocations, tax compliance, due diligence, acquisition/disposition planning and structuring). Experience managing budgets, people and projects. Business development experience within the market. A proven record of excellence in a professional services or tax organization. Technical writing and research experience in a tax context. Ability to prioritize on multiple complex projects and strong influencing skills. Willingness to travel as needed and to work in a balanced hybrid environment. You\'ll also have CPA qualification or be a member of a state bar.
