Handling tax in such a large, sophisticated organization takes more than just a technical understanding of current tax practices. As a Seasonal Real Estate Tax Senior Manager, we will look to you to apply your knowledge to a wide range of tax areas and processes, devising strategic outcomes to some very complex issues. Responsibilities Lead teams and work in a highly collaborative culture, providing up-to-date tax advice to a diverse client base. Engage in a variety of tax planning projects and tasks across real estate, hospitality and construction industries. Develop clear, intelligent plans and approaches to improve clients\' tax activities. Identify opportunities and risks and communicate these to clients. Build client relationships and demonstrate deep knowledge of the real estate tax landscape. Research client operations and tailor advice to specific needs. Supervise a motivated team, ensuring skill development and opportunities for growth. Qualifications and Skills A bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related discipline. Seven to ten years of real estate tax experience in a professional services environment. Extensive knowledge in real estate tax technical and transaction skills (e.g., partnership taxation, REITs, allocations, compliance, due diligence, structuring). Experience managing budgets, people and projects; business development experience. Technical writing and research experience in a tax context. Ability to prioritize multiple complex projects; strong influencing skills; willingness to travel; hybrid work environment. CPA qualification or state bar membership. The salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $120/hr to $150/hr. Salaries are determined by factors including education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.
