Seasonal Tax-Manager-Real Estate FSO-Remote

Your Key Responsibilities There isn’t an average day for a Seasonal Real Estate Tax Senior Manager – you’ll spend time on a variety of tax planning projects, responsibilities and tasks for a diverse client base. You’ll provide up-to-the-minute tax advice clients can rely on and will be leading teams in a highly collaborative culture where listening and information sharing are essential.
Lead teams and work collaboratively to deliver tax planning and advisory services for real estate clients across the sector.
Skills And Attributes For Success Analytical work on evolving portfolios of increasingly complex tax operations to provide meaningful business insights.
Identify opportunities and risks and communicate these to clients.
Learn and research current market trends to maintain credibility as a trusted advisor.
Build client relationships and demonstrate deep knowledge of the real estate, hospitality and construction industry.
Develop clear, intelligent plans to improve clients’ tax activities.
Research clients’ business operations and tailor advice to their specific needs.
Supervise a motivated team of professionals, ensuring they have the skills, knowledge and opportunities to reach their full potential.
To qualify for the role you must have A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline.
Seven to ten years of real estate tax experience in a professional services environment.
Extensive knowledge in real estate tax technical and transaction skills, including partnership taxation, REITs taxation and qualification, partnership allocations, tax compliance, due diligence, acquisition/disposition planning and structuring.
Experience managing budgets, people and projects.
Business development within the market.
A proven record of excellence in a professional services or tax organization.
Technical writing and research experience in a tax context.
The ability to prioritize on multiple complex projects.
Strong influencing skills and the confidence to question existing processes.
Willingness to travel as needed and to work in a balanced hybrid environment.
You'll also have CPA qualification or be a member of a state bar.

Compensation The salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $120/hr to $150/hr. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined by factors including education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.
