Proven experience leading complex engineering organizations, preferably in UAV, robotics, aerospace, or embedded systems. Previous experience in a start-up or high-growth environment is highly valued. Experience taking businesses through growth post-investment/funding is a strong bonus. Deep understanding of embedded systems, firmware, flight control, sensors, and UAV hardware-software integration. Strong strategic thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of mentoring and developing engineering leaders. Experience managing budgets, headcount, and engineering resources effectively.
