Base pay range $310,000.00/yr - $340,000.00/yr Additional compensation types Annual Bonus Recruiter - Medical Device, Biotech, & Pharma Summary: We are currently partnered with a quickly growing biotech that is seeking a dynamic and seasoned Investor Relations executive to lead our external financial communications and investor engagement efforts. This is a critical role for a biotech professional who has worked in nimble, fast-moving environments and brings firsthand experience navigating the unique demands of public company operations and product launches. As VP of Investor Relations, you will drive the development and execution of a cohesive IR strategy, serve as a strategic advisor to the executive team, and act as a key liaison to analysts, shareholders, and the broader investment community. The ideal candidate thrives at the intersection of science, finance, and storytelling. 2-3 times per week in the office. Responsibilities Lead the company’s investor relations function, overseeing messaging, strategy, and external communications Build and nurture relationships with institutional investors, sell-side analysts, and key market stakeholders Craft and refine investor materials, including corporate presentations, earnings scripts, press releases, and Q&A prep Partner with the CEO, CFO, and other senior leaders on earnings calls, investor events, and capital markets initiatives Stay on top of market dynamics, peer developments, and investor sentiment to proactively shape messaging and outreach Support equity financing activities and investor due diligence processes as needed Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Life Sciences, Business, or a related field; MBA or relevant graduate degree preferred Minimum of 10 years’ experience in investor relations, corporate strategy, or finance roles within the biotech or life sciences space Demonstrated experience in a public biotech company, particularly through a commercial launch or key inflection point Solid understanding of equity markets, investor priorities, and biotech valuation drivers Exceptional communicator with the ability to translate complex clinical and corporate strategy into clear, compelling narratives Comfortable operating in lean, high-growth environments with a strong sense of ownership and adaptability Seniority level Executive Employment type Full-time Job function Finance Industries Biotechnology Research and Pharmaceutical Manufacturing
