Overview Vice President, Sales
Reporting to the CEO, the VP, Sales will be charged with developing and leading commercial strategy and execution and will have direct oversight of sales, corporate development, marketing, and customer success teams. The successful candidate will be an established commercial leader with a track record of evangelizing a new solution and is capable of scaling across the health system, provider, and hospital-at-home / post-acute care markets. The VP, Sales possesses a player-coach mentality and is an excellent team builder with expertise in driving accountability and building a high-performing sales culture.
What You\'ll Do Develop and lead commercial strategy and execution.
Initiate, negotiate, and close complex strategic deals with c-suite leaders at health systems and other providers in the hospital-at-home / post-acute care markets. Land and expand contracts to increase sales over time.
Manage large strategic distribution partnerships to ensure that goals and objectives are met.
Lead all revenue-generating activities and teams (oversight of Sales, Corporate Development, Customer Success, and Marketing teams) and partner closely with Finance / Product / Tech leaders to develop and execute on the GTM strategy.
Drive sales team performance and invest in building capabilities (new solution change management frameworks and processes) to drive customer adoption and utilization.
Generating scalable, repeatable, and predictable sales revenue and consistently meet / exceed goals and objectives.
How You\'ll Measure Success Meet or exceed company\'s revenue growth goals.
Build trusting relationships with the CEO, ELT, BoD and cross-functional leaders.
Build, grow, and maintain strong relationships and partnerships across all relevant end-markets (health system, provider, and hospital-at-home / post-acute care).
Build and manage a strong, engaging, and high-performance commercial culture focused on accountability and execution.
Successful strategic exit / IPO.
What You\'ll Need Bachelor\'s Degree Required; Master\'s Preferred
10+ years of experience leading growth initiatives
Deep experience selling SaaS-based data monitoring solutions and hardware / device experience
Experience selling into health systems and other providers in the hospital-at-home / post-acute care markets. Possesses strong relationships with industry leaders, and customers throughout the healthcare ecosystem. Experience selling into payer and ambulatory providers is nice to have.
Proven experience initiating, negotiating, and closing complex strategic deals with c-suite leaders at health systems and / or other providers in the hospital-at-home / post-acute care markets.
Proven track record of generating scalable, repeatable and predictable sales revenue and consistently meeting / exceeding goals and objectives.
Strong business acumen and proven experience managing high-impact partnerships with distributors. Skilled at influencing large external sales teams by aligning KPIs with results.
Skilled at creating new solution change management frameworks and processes to drive customer adoption and utilization.
A highly collaborative commercial leader who is deeply appreciated by their teams, customers, ELT, and the board.
Experience building a high-performing sales team with a sense of shared mission and purpose.
Possesses a high EQ and quickly understands B2B political and selling dynamics, champions, detractors, etc.
Metrics-driven - Obsessed with the numbers and uses data and analytics to guide decision-making, optimize strategies, and track performance.
A self-starter with the energy, drive, and passion to thrive in the midst of tremendous growth, and understands what it takes to scale a business with an eye toward a successful exit.
A highly collaborative leader who is passionate about improving healthcare by empowering clinicians and patients with actionable insights to personalize care anytime, anywhere.
Remote based. Willing to travel extensively to meet customers and engage with the management team.
Salary: 200,000 - 225,000 a year. Base + MBO / Commission
