The Opportunity
We are looking for a self-motivated and strategic Key Account Director to join our U.S. sales team with a dedicated focus on expanding our Frontline Learning Strategy . You will drive new business by building partnerships with large U.S.-based companies in retail, hospitality, logistics and similar industries to deliver English training for their frontline employees.
This is a sales-driven role with strategic focus and high potential. You’ll join a team already working with some of the country’s largest frontline employers and help us expand our reach, deepen our impact, and refine how we serve this unique segment.
Key Responsibilities
Proactively identify and prospect large U.S.-based companies that employ significant frontline workforces Build and manage a qualified pipeline of new business opportunities aligned with EF’s Frontline Learning Strategy Lead consultative sales processes: conduct discovery conversations, uncover client needs, develop tailored proposals, and negotiate contracts. Close and win big deals! Build relationships with HR, L&D, Operations, and Social Impact stakeholders to influence decision-making and program design Deliver persuasive, insight-driven presentations that communicate the business case for frontline English training to senior and cross-functional stakeholders Gather insights from the field to inform EF’s go-to-market approach and represent EF at industry events and workforce development forums
The Skills & Experience We Look For
7+ years of experience in B2B sales or similar roles, with a proven ability to open new doors, build pipeline, and close complex deals with senior stakeholders Proven success engaging and influencing cross-functional stakeholders in large organizations Skilled in consultative selling, discovery, and solution design for complex client needs Background in or exposure to frontline-heavy industries such as retail, hospitality, or logistics, with an existing network or insider perspective considered a strong asset Passion for workforce development, economic mobility, or social impact. Mission-aligned experience is a strong plus.
