Position Overview This role involves managing legal matters related to asset management and operations, including drafting and negotiating contracts, supporting transactions, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The candidate will provide legal counsel across various teams and manage outside counsel as needed. Key Responsibilities Manage internal legal inquiries and provide counsel to internal teams including asset management, operations, M&A, and business development. Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts and agreements. Support company policies, regulatory filings, and compliance efforts. Manage outside counsel and legal resources for litigation and regulatory matters. Conduct legal research and support due diligence for transactions. Assist with regulatory filings and compliance activities. Handle other legal duties as assigned. Candidate Profile J.D. from an accredited law school and active law license. 2-5 years of legal practice, with experience in commercial law and real property matters. Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Team-oriented with effective interpersonal skills. Willingness to travel as needed. Experience in energy sector or regulatory law is a plus, but not required. Physical and Other Requirements Ability to perform physical tasks with or without accommodation. Ability to travel up to 10%. Work in a hybrid office environment based in Denver.
