The Opportunity: In this role, you will develop and deliver financial reports by translating numbers into factual and insightful information using internal reporting, collaborating with team members, evaluating complex financial issues, and recommending solutions to guide future organizational decisions and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Location and Work Arrangement:
Location: Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, Chicago, Illinois, or New York, New York
Work Arrangement: Hybrid role, expected to be in the office 2-3 days per week
Salary Range: The starting salary for this role ranges from $128,000 to $240,000, depending on experience and location.
Your New Role:
Partner with product and business leaders to support development of long-term financial models, including GWP and expense forecasting models.
Analyze recent performance and trends, including monitoring KPIs.
Lead and participate in cross-functional initiatives to ensure business alignment and build strong partnerships with leaders.
Identify and implement financial planning and analysis initiatives to scale the business.
Organize and evaluate data to identify trends, problems, and root causes.
Support evaluation of new products and strategic initiatives.
Assist in the development of annual and long-range plans, including designing the planning framework.
Participate in M&A activities, including modeling and due diligence.
Serve as a business partner to support growth and remediation strategies.
Design reporting and forecasting processes to bridge information gaps.
Develop and maintain financial models with sensitivity analyses.
Work with management to assess and prioritize reporting needs.
Prepare executive-level presentations and data-supported communications.
Minimum Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
7 years of relevant experience

Creative and open-minded problem-solving abilities
Preferred Education and Certifications:
Master's Degree
Certifications such as CPA, CMA, CFA
Knowledge and Expertise:
Advanced knowledge of economic, accounting principles, and financial markets
Financial reporting expertise
Insurance industry product knowledge
