Provide tax advice, full service return preparation, tax calculations, and manage product/software inquiries to support our goal of “Powering Prosperity Around the World.” Utilize government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to deliver the right answer to the customer in everyday language. This is a virtual, customer-facing role using our video communication software; document interactions to maintain accurate records. Who You Are Minimum 2 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns, using commercial tax preparation software. Active, unrestricted credential: EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and active PTIN. Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills (written & spoken). Passionate about helping clients navigate taxation and empowering them to prepare their taxes. Excellent customer service skills; comfortable interacting with customers via video and audio tools in a professional, friendly, and confident manner. What You Need Must have (or be willing to obtain) internet connection that meets Intuit security criteria. Must be available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, spread across three or more days. Pay and Benefits Base pay ranges by location: Bay Area CA $28.80 - $36.50; Southern California $28.80 - $36.50; Colorado $27.50 - $34.80; Hawaii $28.80 - $36.50; Illinois $27.50 - $34.80; Maryland $27.50 - $34.80; Massachusetts $28.80 - $36.50; Minnesota $24.80 - $30.30; New Jersey $28.80 - $36.50; New York $28.80 - $36.50; Ohio $24.80 - $30.30; Vermont $27.50 - $34.80; Washington $28.80 - $36.50; Washington DC $28.80 - $36.50.
