Role Summary
CBTS is seeking a collaborative, visionary, and execution-focused Chief Product & Technology Officer (CPTO) to lead the integration of product innovation, technology strategy, and solution development across the organization. This hybrid role is central to CBTS’s ambition to be a market leader in enabling secure digital transformation through AI-driven, cloud-enabled, and network-integrated solutions .
The CPTO will work closely with business line leaders, functional CTOs, enterprise architects, and technical teams to develop CBTS’s technology and solutions roadmap. This role will embed AI, cybersecurity, cloud, and networking as foundational pillars of our offerings. The CPTO will also lead product management, incubate new innovations, standardize solution development, and represent CBTS as a trusted, outcomes-driven technology partner in the market.
Key Responsibilities
1. Technology & Solutions Strategy
Co-develop a forward-looking technology and solutions roadmap in collaboration with:
Business Line Leaders
Functional CTOs
Technical Architects and Engineering Leads
Translate emerging trends into differentiated offerings that create measurable customer impact.
Position CBTS as a trusted advisor in enterprise digital transformation by leveraging:
AI as the driver for insight and automation
Cloud as a platform for scalability and innovation
Networking as the backbone for secure, reliable connectivity
Cybersecurity as a default requirement embedded in every solution stack.
2. Unified AI Strategy & Execution
Define and lead an enterprise-wide AI strategy in partnership with business and technology leaders.
Ensure AI capabilities are integrated across all offerings — from analytics and automation to customer experience.
Guide responsible AI innovation and messaging to establish CBTS as a trusted AI enabler.
Oversee AI product incubation tied to real-world business use cases.
3. Cybersecurity-First Design
Ensure secure-by-design principles are embedded into every solution and product.
Collaborate with cyber and infrastructure leaders to operationalize secure development practices and compliance frameworks.
Balance rapid innovation with resilience, trust, and governance.
4. Cloud & Network-Integrated Innovation
Drive cloud-native and multi-cloud solutions through strategic partnerships with technology vendors and hyperscalers.
Lead innovation in next-gen networking (SD-WAN, SASE, private 5G) to support modern infrastructure needs.
Ensure end-to-end integration across cloud, edge, data center, and connectivity layers.
5. Product Development & Portfolio Management
Lead and evolve the enterprise-wide product development and management function with a focus on repeatability, scalability, and commercial viability.
Champion a product culture rooted in customer value, agile iteration, and market alignment.
Manage the product portfolio lifecycle and performance metrics (adoption, NPS, growth, ROI).
6. Innovation, Incubation & New Revenue Streams
Establish and govern a structured innovation model that incubates high-potential offerings.
Leverage emerging technologies (e.g., AI, edge computing, cyber analytics) to explore new business opportunities.
Engage with startup, venture and private equity (PE) ecosystems to identify acceleration or acquisition candidates.
Prioritize initiatives that unlock future growth and new revenue models.
7. Solution Development Excellence & Governance
Codify best practices for solution development and delivery in collaboration with engineering and operations.
Promote DevSecOps, Agile, CI/CD, and cloud-native methods to enhance speed, quality, and scale.
Implement governance to ensure compliance, repeatability, and efficiency.
8. Talent Strategy & Team Development
Build and lead high-performing, cross-functional teams across product and technology domains.
Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous learning.
Drive leadership development, succession planning, and organizational capability-building.
Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion in hiring, leadership, and innovation.
9. Thought Leadership, Ecosystem Engagement & Market Influence
Serve as a visible and strategic spokesperson for CBTS’s technology vision.
Shape external perception through analyst briefings, speaking engagements, and industry collaboration.
Cultivate strategic alliances with hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI), tech partners, and startup, venture, and PE communities.
Partner with sales and marketing to position CBTS as an outcome-focused innovation leader.
Qualifications
Required:
15+ years in senior leadership roles spanning technology, product, or digital transformation.
Proven experience in AI/ML, cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, networking, and platform development.
Success launching and scaling complex, commercially viable technology products and services.
Strong external presence and ability to represent the company in strategic, customer, and market-facing forums.
Deep understanding of enterprise and mid-market customer environments.
Experience leading in matrixed, cross-functional environments with strong stakeholder engagement.
Preferred:
Executive experience in SaaS, managed services, consulting, or digital platforms.
Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
Exposure to startup ecosystems and M&A activities.
Familiarity with Agile/Lean product frameworks, service design, and journey mapping.
