We are seeking a Chief Solutions Architect to join our team. The Chief Solutions Architect (CSA) is a senior-level technical leader who serves as the strategic visionary and hands-on expert for designing and delivering complex, enterprise-grade solutions that align with Advantage Communications Group’s business objectives and client needs. Acting as a master builder, this role partners closely with the Sales Team to craft and validate technical solutions that address diverse challenges across networking, cloud, and infrastructure domains. The CSA evaluates and leads large RFP pursuits, leads cross-functional collaboration with internal teams and external partners to ensure solution pursuit alignment with Advantage’s mission and vision, and guides seamless execution of Advantage’s services with large enterprise clients. Acting as a post-sale executive sponsor, the CSA will ensure every proposed solution is designed not only for technical excellence but also drives measurable business value, supported by clear, compelling communication and deep understanding of Advantage’s portfolio and market differentiators. Responsibilities Strategic Solution Leadership Collaborate with Sales to define, design, and validate enterprise-grade technical solutions across: Underlay and Overlay Networks Local and Wide Area Networks (LAN/WAN) Cloud and Hybrid Infrastructures Lead cross-functional efforts to present and deliver technical solutions with clarity, precision, and confidence, tailored to each client’s business challenges. Engage in pre-sales activities and customer consultations, ensuring proposed solutions align with strategic needs and meet or exceed client expectations. Enterprise RFP Strategy & Technical Excellence Oversee the evaluation of incoming RFPs, providing senior-level insight on feasibility, competitive fit, and business alignment. Drive excellence in large-pursuit responses by articulating compelling solution features, business benefits, and differentiators that distinguish Advantage from competitors. Communicate and author solutions in a clear, persuasive manner to both technical and executive stakeholders, bridging technology with tangible business value. Serve as the technical authority in client engagements, presenting designs that reflect thought leadership, innovation, and trustworthiness. Translate complex architectures into executive-level narratives articulating Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), Return on Investment (ROI), and long-term business impact. Match Advantage’s full services portfolio to individual client requirements, ensuring maximum relevance and long-term business value. Implementation of Governance & Operational Alignment Partner with Operations to ensure provisioning, installation, migration, cutover, and ‘go-live’ activities align with the proposed operating model and solution expectations. Establish post ‘go-live’ checkpoints and governance to ensure solutions perform as designed and deliver expected outcomes for the long-term. Skills & Requirements Expertise in DIA/BIA, LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) services Familiarity with 3rd-party API integrations Strategic Thinking Ability to align technical solutions with business goals and market trends Experience developing solution roadmaps and architecture blueprints Communication & Influence Exceptional presentation and written communication skills for C-level audiences Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value (TCO, ROI) communications and executive summaries Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and mentor future architects Skilled in stakeholder collaboration across sales, engineering, and all operational processes Education & Experience Engineering, IT or other relevant Undergrad degree or higher 7+ years in enterprise architecture, solutions design, or technical leadership Track record of leading multimillion-dollar solution pursuits Experience with RFP evaluation/management, client engagement, and post-sales governance Exposure to regulated industries (e.g., finance, healthcare, government) is a plus Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift 35 pounds; Must be able to stand or sit for long periods of time; Must have the ability to travel.
