About the Role As a Senior Manager – Cloud & DevOps Consulting, you will make an impact by leading high-performing technical teams across commercial engagements, driving delivery excellence, and fostering strategic client partnerships. You will be a valued member of the Cloud & Infrastructure Consulting team and work collaboratively with clients, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams. In this role, you will: Lead technical teams across commercial projects, ensuring delivery aligns with plans, governance, profitability, and client satisfaction.
Build strong client partnerships by anticipating needs and leveraging expertise in Agile, DevOps, enterprise software, and distributed systems.
Align consulting teams with project goals and broader Cognizant/client ecosystems, fostering collaboration and strategic design.
Advocate for Consulting’s value in engagements, including rate negotiations and recognition.
Capture and share intellectual property and project artifacts.
Develop consulting service offerings and contribute to industry thought leadership to elevate Cognizant’s brand.
Consistently demonstrate the Cognizant Way to Lead, operating with Personal Leadership (trust, collaboration, inclusion), Organizational Leadership (vision, strategic mindset, bold direction), and Business Leadership (client focus, financial acumen, accountability).

Deep knowledge of AWS, Azure, GCP (certifications preferred).
Expertise in DevOps, SRE, or enterprise software/infrastructure.
Proficiency in IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK) and observability platforms (Splunk, Datadog, ELK).
Strong documentation and cloud architecture skills.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker Swarm), microservices, and APIs.
Hands-on development experience across the software lifecycle.
These will help you succeed MBA or advanced technical degree preferred.
Experience in consulting engagements with Fortune 500 clients.
Ability to influence stakeholders and drive strategic outcomes.
Proven experience and expertise in Cloud/DevOps/SRE/FinOps/AI

Compensation The annual salary for this position is between $98,853-158,500 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
