I am currently working with a leading AM LAW top 100 ranked firm , who are actively looking to recruit an Attorney who specializes in commercial litigation to join their Chicago office. Key Responsibilities: This role will assist with a broad array of matters, including sophisticated and complex litigation cases. Handle fact investigation, legal research, drafting discovery, preparing pleadings, taking and defending depositions and participating in mediations. Communicate with opposing counsel and clients. Appear in court for motions and pre-hearing proceedings. Qualifications: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a leading accredited law school. Admission to the state bar of Illinois. 3+ years of experience in complex commercial litigation matters, ideally gained within a large law firm setting.
