Job Title: Databricks Architect  
Location: Boston, MA

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Architect with 8 to 12 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Databricks Unity Catalog, Databricks Workflows, and related technologies. This role involves designing and implementing data solutions using Databricks, ensuring efficient data management and analytics. The position is hybrid with no travel required, and the shift is during the day.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable data solutions using Databricks technologies to meet business requirements.
  • Oversee the integration of Databricks Unity Catalog and Databricks Workflows to streamline data processes.
  • Provide expertise in Databricks Workspace Admin and Databricks Unity Catalog Admin to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy data-driven solutions that enhance business operations.
  • Ensure data integrity and security by implementing best practices in Databricks Delta Lake and Databricks SQL.
  • Utilize Databricks CLI to automate and manage data workflows efficiently.
  • Support the development of data models and analytics solutions using Azure Databricks.
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of Databricks environments to ensure high availability and reliability.
  • Lead efforts to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Databricks infrastructure and applications.
  • Provide guidance and training to team members on Databricks tools and technologies.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of data management practices within the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance policies and standards.
  • Drive innovation by exploring new features and capabilities of Databricks to enhance data solutions.

Qualifications

  • Possess strong experience in Databricks Unity Catalog and Databricks Workflows.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Databricks Workspace Admin and Databricks Unity Catalog Admin.
  • Have a solid understanding of Databricks SQL and Databricks Delta Lake.
  • Experience with Azure Databricks is essential.
  • Familiarity with Databricks CLI for automation purposes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex data issues.
