The Director will serve as the strategic Finance partner to the CB2 brand, bringing a big-picture mindset to ensure that team processes and procedures result in best-in-class finance and accounting practices. The Director will have responsibility for all financial planning and analysis activities (FP&A)—including forecasting, budgeting, financial reporting, and portfolio analytics—to support strategic decision making across the brand. As a key member of both the Corporate Brand and Finance leadership teams, this leader will demonstrate a deep understanding of core business drivers to deliver insightful, value-added analysis to support the brand’s key objectives.
This role is based on-site in Chicago, IL (Monday through Thursday) with the flexibility to work remotely on Fridays.
Responsibilities
Provide financial leadership and strategic support to senior management, including preparing board presentations, financial presentations, capital expenditure analysis, industry/peer group comparisons, analysis of new business opportunities, and other projects for the CB2 brand.
Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives.
Oversee and manage the development of monthly forecasts, annual budgets, long-range financial and operating plans, and modeling tools.
Act as the analytic engine of the CB2 brand to provide insights and support optimal business decision making.
Analyze trends using financial statements and KPIs across revenue, cost of goods sold, expenses, and capital expenditures.
Monitor performance indicators, highlight trends, and analyze causes of variance across the P&L through EBIT.
Implement and work with business intelligence tools and dashboard reports.
Improve performance by evaluating processes to drive efficiencies and identify opportunities to improve sales and margin (sourcing, promotions, discounts, etc.).
Provide timely financial recommendations to management for decision-making purposes.

Proficiency in financial systems and BI tools (e.g., Hyperion, PeopleSoft, MicroStrategy) with Google Workspace preferred.
Qualifications
8+ years of progressive related experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
Executive-level quantitative/analytical and organizational skills.
Expert forecasting and financial modeling skills.
MBA and/or CFA preferred.
Compensation Minimum Starting Rate: $180,000.00 Annually. Up to: $220,000.00 Annually. Pay ranges will be adjusted upward as needed to comply with applicable state and local law. In addition to salary, eligible for other compensation including bonuses, sales incentives, and long-term incentives depending on role.
