Key Responsibilities

  • Community Engagement & Growth
  • Build and own a comprehensive donor engagement strategy across acquisition, solicitation, and retention.
  • Create data-driven segmentation and donor journeys that spark growth in participation, average gift size, and retention.
  • Partner with communications and giving teams to launch bold, multi-channel campaigns that capture attention and inspire action.
  • Set and track clear KPIs to drive performance across acquisition, conversion, and upgrade pipelines.
  • Personally cultivate and manage a portfolio of high-value donors and prospects.
  • Donor Experience & Loyalty
  • Design lifecycle communications that reinforce donor impact and fuel ongoing commitment.
  • Develop distinctive stewardship plans for recurring, mid-level, major, and legacy donors.
  • Produce compelling impact reports, donor features, and recognition campaigns that elevate the mission.
  • Lead donor appreciation initiatives and signature experiences that strengthen emotional connection.
  • Lead, mentor, and energize a team focused on community giving and stewardship.
  • Instill a donor-first mindset across the organization.
  • Build cross-functional alignment with operations, finance, and data teams to ensure precision and accountability.
  • Partner with volunteer leaders and fundraising committees to achieve ambitious growth goals.
  • Harness donor insights and analytics to fuel decision-making and innovation.
  • Define and track success metrics that measure progress and inform future strategies.
  • Ensure the CRM system reflects accurate, secure, and up-to-date donor records.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 6–8+ years of progressive experience in fundraising, donor engagement, or stewardship roles.
  • Proven success driving annual giving, donor relations, and direct marketing campaigns.
  • Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and scale teams.
  • Skilled in CRM platforms and data analysis tools; proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required.
  • Experience with volunteer committees or membership-based organizations preferred.
  • Familiarity with Jewish communal life, values, and practices is a plus.
  • Visionary strategist who thrives on charting new paths and delivering results.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to persuade, influence, and inspire.
