About The Role
Altasciences is seeking an experienced Director, ERP Financial Systems, with a proven history of Workday post-production implementation and everyday use ideally in a professional services industry. Lead a team of system analysts, collaborate with finance, Human Resources and operations on building out the Workday capabilities. Ability to work with HCM and FIN teams, collaborating on the interactions between the modules.
Workday Modules implemented: General Ledger, Consolidations, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, (PSA) Projects & Contracts, Expenses, Inventory, Procurement, Asset Management, and Financial Planning (Adaptive).
What You'll Do Here
System Configuration & Optimization:
Maintain Workday Security profiles and update based on best practices. Configure and maintain Workday Financial modules to align with the organization's financial processes and reporting requirements.
Develop and implement best practices for Workday system use, including workflows, dashboards, and reporting capabilities.
Identify areas for improvement within the system, recommending and executing configuration changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Security & Compliance Management:
Administer and maintain user access and security roles within Workday Financials, ensuring appropriate access controls are in place.
Conduct regular reviews of security permissions, mitigating risks and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Collaborate with internal and external audit teams to provide necessary data and ensure compliance with audit requirements.
Data Management & Integrity:
Oversee data governance within Workday Financials, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all modules.
Perform regular audits and reconciliations of financial data, addressing discrepancies and ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations.
Manage data imports and exports, providing support for data integration with other systems.
End-User Training & Support:
Develop and deliver training materials and sessions for end-users, ensuring they are equipped to utilize the Workday Financial modules effectively.
Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for users, addressing issues promptly and documenting resolutions.
Serve as a liaison between finance, IT, and other departments to support continuous improvement initiatives.
Project Management & Continuous Improvement:
Lead or support various projects related to the enhancement and optimization of Workday Financials, including new module deployments, upgrades, and process re-engineering.
Stay current on Workday updates and new features, assessing their impact on the organization and recommending adoption strategies where appropriate.
What You'll Need to Succeed
Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
5+ years of experience working with Workday Financials, with hands-on expertise in configuring and managing multiple modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Procurement, and Financial Planning.
Strong understanding of financial processes, GAAP, generally accepted accounting principles, and reporting requirements.
Workday certification(s) in Financials, security and HCM modules considered an asset
Experience with Workday projects & contracts and billings (PSA)and inventory modules.
Proven ability to analyze data, troubleshoot issues, and provide innovative solutions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Detail-oriented and highly organized, with a strong ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

What We Offer:
The pay range estimated for this position is $160,000-$180,00. Please note that hourly rates/salaries vary within the range based on factors including, but not limited to, prior relevant experience, skills, education, certification, location as well as internal equity and market data
