Position Overview Founded in 2017 and based in Chicago, Meitheal focuses on developing and commercializing generic injectable medications, expanding in 2022 to include fertility, biologic, and branded products. We market over 60 FDA-approved products across various therapeutic areas including anti-infectives, oncolytics, intensive care, and fertility. As of January 2025, we have 19 products in R&D, 22 planned for launch, and 24 under FDA review.
The Director of Financial Planning and Analysis, Specialty supports strategic planning, budgeting, and cash flow management for the Specialty team, working cross-functionally to drive company growth. The salary range is $165,000 to $205,000, based on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities Support financial reporting, strategic planning, product profitability, and cash management for the Specialty group
Manage cash flow and collaborate on capital needs
Prepare business plans and reports for the Board, highlighting key drivers and risks
Conduct financial due diligence for M&A and business development opportunities
Develop and monitor KPIs using business intelligence tools
Partner with Marketing, Pricing, and Sales to align financial and business strategies
Support integration of new assets and ensure GAAP compliance
Participate in brand planning and identify process improvements
Qualifications Advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
Minimum 12 years of progressive finance experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry with exposure to Gross to Net challenges in Specialty products
Strong communication, leadership, and technical skills
Experience with financial systems, ERP, and business intelligence tools
