Overview Solomon Page is seeking a Director of Compensation and Benefits. This pivotal leadership role goes beyond traditional HR functions; you\'ll construct and elevate a total rewards strategy that not only attracts but motivates and retains top talent, aligning with our client’s mission. Located onsite in Annapolis, MD, this hybrid position allows for flexible work arrangements one day a week.
Salary range: 170k to 200k plus bonus
Responsibilities Compensation and Benefits Management: Lead the design and implementation of market-competitive total rewards programs and oversee payroll, health and welfare plans, retirement programs, and time-off policies.
Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze trends within compensation and benefits data to guide strategic decisions and enhance offerings.
Employee Communication and Support: Deliver effective communication around compensation and benefits, providing support to employees and resolving escalated issues with professionalism.
Benchmarking and Best Practices: Research and implement best practices to continually enhance the effectiveness of programs.
HR Generalist Support: Collaborate with the HR team to develop and implement related policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications Minimum of 10 years in compensation and benefits management with a proven track record in payroll administration.
Extensive knowledge of compensation and benefits principles, best practices, and applicable laws.
Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret data trends effectively.
Experience with multi-state or multi-entity compensation structures.
Professional certifications such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, CCP, or CEBS.
Understanding of documentation control and contract management processes.
Preferred Education and Experience Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
