Location: Miami / New York City (hybrid possible) The Role - Responsibilities We are seeking an Engineering Director with experience in building software products from scratch, leading teams, and developing scalable enterprise platforms. You will guide our technological vision, lead and build a team of engineers, architects, and DevOps specialists to design, develop, and deploy innovative solutions. Technical Leadership: Provide strategic direction for our technology roadmap, stay updated on emerging technologies, and evaluate their impact on our products. Product Development: Collaborate with product management and UX/UI teams to prioritize and deliver high-quality features. Architecture and Infrastructure: Define scalable, secure, and resilient architecture solutions supporting growth, ensuring industry best practices and compliance. Team Management: Build, mentor, and motivate a team of engineers and specialists, providing guidance and professional development. Quality Assurance: Establish standards for reliability, usability, and performance, implementing automated testing and deployment. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate technical risks, monitor system performance, security, and data integrity. Collaboration and Communication: Foster a collaborative culture, work with stakeholders to align technology with business goals. Requirements Undergraduate and graduate degrees in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields with 10+ years of relevant experience. Proven leadership in software engineering, with at least 5 years in senior management. Experience in building products from scratch, translating business needs into scalable technical solutions. Deep understanding of Fintech, SaaS architecture, cloud computing, microservices, and modern development methodologies. Excellent communication skills to articulate complex concepts and inspire teams.
