Overview We are seeking a Director of Finance & Analytics who can bridge finance and operations at Canopy by Hilton and Hilton Garden Inn Chicago. This leader will ensure that every major decision, from sales strategy to capital planning, is grounded in sound financial insight. You will design systems, deliver insights, and influence outcomes at every level, working closely with the General Manager, Director of Sales, Director of Revenue Management, department leaders, and ownership to put numbers to work in ways that improve profitability, guide smarter investments, and create lasting value. This is a career-defining opportunity to take full ownership of the financial function at a dual branded flagship urban hotel in Chicago’s Central Loop. This is not a back-office reporting role; it is a leadership position that combines technical rigor with clear communication, curiosity, and the ability to drive alignment across the business.
What You Will Do Lead the hotel’s finance function with accuracy, accountability, and transparency.
Build modern reporting systems and KPIs that give leaders clarity and confidence to act.
Leverage technology and new tools (including analytics platforms and AI) to improve efficiency and generate forward-looking insights.
Provide analysis that proactively highlights risks and opportunities.
Work directly with property leadership to ensure financial thinking shapes everyday decisions, from product pricing (e.g., rooms, F&B) to staffing to capital planning.
Educate, coach and challenge leaders outside of finance to raise the level of financial insight and discipline across the hotel.
Partner with ownership to align financial strategy with long-term value creation.

Compensation & Structure We offer a competitive total compensation package , including a base salary in the range of $110,000–$130,000 , performance-based incentives, and a comprehensive benefits program.
This is a full-time role based in Chicago’s Central Loop, with hybrid flexibility.
