Director of Financial Aid Position Overview The Director of Financial Aid is responsible for overseeing the administration of Title IV financial aid programs and ensuring full compliance with federal guidelines. This leadership role manages all aspects of financial aid operations, including student eligibility determinations, award processing, regulatory communications, policy development, and staff supervision. The Director establishes a culture of professionalism through exemplary integrity, transparent communication, critical thinking, and innovative problem-solving. Key Responsibilities Direct the daily operations of the Financial Aid Office, ensuring efficient and compliant administration of Title IV programs Determine student eligibility for financial aid programs and oversee the award process Manage communication with regulatory agencies and ensure timely reporting Develop, implement, and maintain department policies and procedures Supervise, train, and evaluate financial aid staff Interpret and implement federal, state, and institutional financial aid regulations Provide guidance to students and families regarding financial aid options and processes Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service to students Monitor and reconcile financial aid budgets and funds Stay current with changes in financial aid regulations and best practices Qualifications Minimum of three years of experience in financial aid administration Strong management and supervisory skills Excellent interpersonal abilities with diverse populations Demonstrated capacity to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately Superior verbal and written communication skills Exceptional organizational and time management capabilities Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment Bachelor's degree in business, education, or related field (preferred) Understanding of the massage and bodywork profession (preferred) Knowledge of financial aid management systems and relevant software Benefits : Medical, dental, and vision coverage Paid Time Off : Vacation, holiday, and sick pay Location : Remote work considered for the right candidate Personal Attributes Commitment to ethical practices and professional integrity Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills Adaptable to changing regulations and priorities Student-centered approach to service Collaborative team player with leadership qualities Qualified candidates are invited to submit a cover letter, resume, and three professional references.
