With expanding operations, increasing complexity, and strong executive sponsorship, this is a chance to help build and scale the FP&A function in a business where finance is deeply embedded in decision-making. Why this role may be a fit Strategic finance seat reporting directly to the SVP of Finance Fully remote, with preference for candidates based in Chicago or Los Angeles High-visibility role with regular interaction across finance, HR, and business leadership Strong cultural emphasis on ownership, autonomy, and collaboration What you’ll do Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning across the company Partner with department heads and HR to manage headcount planning and workforce alignment Perform variance analysis and deliver actionable insights to senior leadership Develop financial models, executive presentations, and KPI reporting Improve internal FP&A tools and workflows to support scale and evolving business needs What you bring 7+ years of progressive FP&A or investment banking experience Strong Excel and modeling skills; able to synthesize complex data into clear narratives Background in SaaS or services industries preferred Experience supporting public-company reporting or operating in a high-growth environment a strong plus Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently with minimal oversight Must currently reside in the contiguous United States Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship This search is being managed by Harmer , a recruiting firm working on behalf of a confidential client.
