Overview Advance your career as Director of Omnichannel Strategy , leading the top market share brands in their categories—Eggo and MorningStar Farms—with over $1.2B in combined sales. Based in Chicago, IL, this hybrid role reports to the VP of Commercial Strategy – Frozen and focuses on driving integrated plans across digital and physical channels. You'll shape a fast-growing ecommerce strategy that delivers a unique, engaging consumer experience. Collaborating with cross-functional teams—including Omni Sales, Marketing, Finance, Category Strategy, RGM, R&D, and Supply Chain—you’ll develop and execute commercial strategies that energize customers and grow sales. The role also includes managing a direct report responsible for digital and search strategy across both brands.
What You’ll Be Doing Customer Focus Across Channels – Serve as the primary liaison for Omni Customer/Sales Leads and the Center of Excellence, driving competitive strategies across channels, marketing, search, media, and activation. Partner closely with internal teams—Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and R&D—and external agencies in analytics, search, media, and shopper marketing to ensure alignment and seamless execution of strategic initiatives.
Cross-functional Collaboration – Act as the primary point of contact for Omni Customer/Sales Leads and the Center of Excellence, driving competitive strategies across channels, marketing, search, media, and activation. Collaborate with internal teams—Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and R&D—and external agency partners in analytics, search, media, and shopper marketing to ensure cross-functional alignment and seamless execution of strategic initiatives.
Project Management – Execute, monitor, and drive visibility for Product Work Requests (PWRs) that support project execution and enable fit-to-win content, assortment, and portfolio strategies in Omni. Deliver accurate and timely inputs, which are critical to the success of this role.
Business Insights – Proactively track and analyze Omni category business plans, providing strategic and tactical recommendations to drive performance. Use data and analytics to generate actionable insights that empower brands to make informed decisions. Offer solutions grounded in both Kellanova and competitive innovation and share best practices from successful launches to support team success.
Financial Management & Strategic Planning – Manage a multi-million-dollar budget and create investment strategies to win in the market, exceed category growth expectations, and deliver against iROAS benchmarks. Build and implement a 3-year roadmap of capabilities, investments, and resources to accelerate Frozen Foods growth and drive profitability across Omni P&Ls and channels.
What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree required. Background in commercial and sales strategy, field sales, and cross-functional project work.
Strong Omni experience, including customer and retail media networks, with proven success leading from the retail and/or brand side.
Strong understanding of traditional and Omni media, and how they integrate to drive commercial outcomes.
Demonstrated ability to execute across digital and physical channels, ensuring a consistent customer experience.
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize competing deadlines and manage heavy workloads.
Strong analytical and communication skills, including interpreting Nielsen data, market research, and leveraging big data analytics.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, able to collaborate across all levels of the organization; frequent travel required.
Compensation The annual salary range is $176,000 - $231,000 , which is based on various factors such as location, experience and skill. Discretionary bonuses based on company and individual performance are also available.
