BODYARMOR is seeking a Director of Customer Sales, Meijer and Hy-Vee to join our team.
The Director of Customer Sales will lead a cross-functional team to deliver business results across the assigned territory. This role involves leading annual planning, negotiating agreements, and resolving complex customer issues to meet annual goals. The director will also manage two direct reports responsible for Kroger East and West divisions.
Responsibilities Oversee the Meijer and Hy-Vee customer relationships and fuel center businesses (Meijer Express and Fast and Fresh).
Drive processes and execution of annual plans, delivering revenue, volume, share, trade spend, and T&E budgets.
Collaborate with senior management and cross-functional teams to develop and execute annual business plans.
Lead negotiations to establish optimized partnership agreements supporting organizational priorities.
Manage customer selling stories, insights, and key execution metrics (Assortment, Shelving, Pricing, Merchandising, Innovation).
Monitor account performance, report on key metrics, and recommend actions to meet business objectives.
Handle administrative duties such as contracts and new item forms.
Utilize data and insights to support storytelling and selling strategies.
System Leadership Participate in routines like CCLT and Customer Core Teams to provide updates and action plans.
Work closely with Coca-Cola sales teams to align goals and maximize results.
Build relationships with BASN teams and bottlers to ensure focus on customer objectives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration Update management on customer plans and opportunities.
Participate in routines to ensure flawless execution of programs.
Contribute customer insights to marketing, commercial, and innovation plans.
Organizational Development Leverage cross-functional resources for selling, marketing, and growth initiatives.
Coach and mentor team members, ensuring resource support.
Manage the department's T&E budget aligned with financial objectives.
Requirements Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience.
8+ years in direct sales within the CPG industry, with proven success selling to national and regional channels.
Preferred locations: Michigan, Chicago, or Des Moines.
Experience with Hy-Vee and/or Meijer preferred.
DSD beverage background preferred.
Self-motivated, organized, results-driven, entrepreneurial mindset.
Strong analytical skills, including Nielsen/IRI data expertise.
Willingness to travel 40-50%, with a valid driver’s license.

Pay Range: $120,000 - $165,200. Compensation varies based on location, experience, and skills. Benefits and incentives included.
