This is a great fit for an Attorney with employment law experience who has a growth mindset and is enthusiastic and committed to sensitive workplace investigations.

Job Responsibilities Include

Conducting investigations from intake to completion, including witness interviews Drafting detailed investigation reports, documents, and correspondence Reviewing interpreting, analyzing, and evaluating witness statements, documents, and physical evidence collected during investigations Reviewing, summarizing, creating, and organizing legal documents and information Developing training materials and conduct workplace trainings Counseling, supporting, and advising in-house investigation teams on best practices Researching various topics and keeping up with current events and new case law

Required Background/Skills

An ability to attend occasional workplace investigations in person in NY or NJ JD degree from an ABA accredited law school and admitted in NY or NJ 6+ years of labor and employment law experience, including conducting workplace investigations at some point in your career Flexible: Can deal with a variable schedule Strong computer skills - can adapt to Clio, Excel, Word, ShareDrive, etc. Excellent written communication and analytical skills Highly organized and willing to take on project management responsibilities Passionate about and willing to write on employment topics on firm social channels
