Position: Engagement Manager Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid Schedule) Compensation : $120 - 150K Industry : Fund Administration & Private Funds Services Job Description: We’re recruiting for a highly motivated Engagement Manager to lead client engagements within the private equity and venture capital space. This is a client-facing role with opportunities to contribute to business development while mentoring junior team members and driving process efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining regular communication to stay informed of ongoing fund activities Proactively manage client expectations and ensure a high standard of service delivery Oversee engagement operations with a focus on client needs, team utilization, and overall efficiency Supervise audit and tax preparation processes in coordination with internal and external teams Review client and investor communications to ensure accuracy and professionalism Support business development efforts, including preparing proposals and engaging with prospective clients Train, mentor, and develop junior staff to promote growth and team capability Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of public accounting experience or equivalent 2+ years of experience working with VC/PE funds or in fund administration > OR at least 1 year of experience as a Manager at a public accounting firm Strong understanding of partnership accounting; prior VC/PE experience preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook Experience with QuickBooks is a plus Bachelor’s degree required (Finance, Accounting, or Economics preferred) CPA preferred 45791
