Job Title: Enterprise Architect Location: Paramus, New Jersey - Hybrid - Once a week (Need Local Candidate) Experience with migrating legacy technologies to Salesforce is essential. Experience with IBM Series migration is a plus, but Salesforce migration experience is a must!

Note: This is an onsite, customer-facing role requiring hands-on experience with modern tech stacks and excellent communication skills.

Note: We are looking for someone experienced in migrating from legacy systems such as IBM Series to Salesforce. Please ensure this experience is highlighted, or profiles will be rejected.

About the Role: The client is modernizing by transitioning from legacy IBMi/iSeries/AS400 systems. The Enterprise Architect will work closely with stakeholders to scope and define the modernization RFP, shaping the future architecture aligned with business goals, scalability, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with leadership to understand current architecture and processes

Define scope, objectives, and technical requirements for the RFP

Assess existing IBMi systems and identify migration pathways

Recommend future architecture including cloud, integration, and data strategies

Evaluate modernization tools, platforms, and vendors

Document decisions, risks, and mitigation strategies

Ensure standards compliance and provide thought leadership

Required Skills & Experience:

10+ years in enterprise architecture, focusing on legacy modernization

Deep understanding of IBMi/iSeries/AS400 and RPG applications

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern stacks

Strong knowledge of Salesforce integration and DB2/400

Proven experience in drafting RFPs for large transformation projects

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Ability to work onsite in the US

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in environmental or regulated industries

Certifications in TOGAF, AWS/Azure Architecture

Salesforce implementation experience in modernization projects
