Enterprise Security Architect Chicago, IL or Fishers, IN Direct Hire - $145,000 - $155,000 This role is offered with a global manufacturing company, one of the largest and most well-known producers in their industry. With a global team of over 20,000 employees and annual revenue exceeding $10 billion, they are looking to onboard a Security Architect immediately. This is a new position within an expanding team, requiring extensive experience in security design and architecture for a multi-year cybersecurity transformation. It is a full-time, hybrid onsite role. The successful candidate will work alongside a small but effective team and collaborate with local and international resources. Reporting directly to the Director of Global IT Security, the role involves: Providing security recommendations, prerequisites, and counsel during the deployment of new systems or updates, ensuring a security-focused approach. Conducting risk assessments for new systems, services, and modifications, ensuring alignment with acceptable risk levels. Collaborating with the business to assess designs and ensure they follow security principles, patterns, standards, and best practices. Establishing, documenting, and implementing security patterns, standards, and guidelines. Partnering with the business to identify potential threats and appropriate controls to manage security risks. Evaluating current security processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Coordinating with the broader security architecture team to ensure standardized security practices across the organization. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Information Security or IT; certifications such as Azure Security, CISSP, GCFE, GCFA, OSCP are highly valued but not mandatory. Experience with frameworks like NIST, CIS, ISO 27000 series, and MITRE ATT&CK. Deep understanding of crisis management, risk analysis, and disaster recovery planning. Experience as an Enterprise Security Architect with international compliance standards.
