Role Overview
As the Executive Director of Sales & Marketing for our Institutional, Hospitals, and Clinics (IHC Gx) division, you will lead our commercial strategies across multiple pharmaceutical products and therapeutic areas. Your responsibilities include P&L management, sales, marketing, and portfolio strategy to maximize product performance and meet organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
Full accountability for profit and loss of the Institutional, Hospital & Clinics generics business.
Develop and implement commercial strategies for a portfolio of approximately 200 SKUs to optimize revenue and profitability.
Manage and deliver operating income for the business.
Sales Leadership
Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth and market share.
Achieve sales targets and manage resource allocation.
Monitor and improve sales team performance.
Build relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
Foster a high-performance sales culture with talent development.
Marketing Strategy
Oversee marketing plans aligned with business objectives.
Conduct market analysis to identify growth opportunities.
Coordinate product launches and promotional activities.
Optimize marketing mix to enhance sales and market share.
Lead brand development and internal/external communications.
Pipeline & Forecasting
Drive portfolio expansion through licensing and deal negotiations.
Develop forecasts for local and global needs.
Provide accurate global forecasts for planning.
Innovate lifecycle strategies to generate revenue.
Manage pipeline forecasting during product development.
Monitor brand performance and market trends.
Lead IP-related activities for products.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work with Supply Chain, Market Access, Finance, and other teams to align strategies.
Ensure product availability and distribution efficiency.
Leadership & Team Development
Build and lead a high-performing commercial team.
Promote a culture of innovation and collaboration.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
10+ years of experience in managing a Generics portfolio and P&L.
Strong understanding of Institutional, Clinics, and Hospital market dynamics.
Established relationships with key customers and buying groups.
Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
Strategic thinker with execution capabilities in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations and industry trends.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
