Oracle EPM Systems Manager – EPBCS Chicago Metro – Hybrid $145,000 – $165,000 base salary + bonus We are partnered with an organization seeking an experienced and strategic Oracle EPM Systems Manager with deep expertise in Oracle Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (EPBCS) to lead the design, administration, and continuous improvement of our enterprise planning solutions. This role will be responsible for ensuring the effectiveness, reliability, and scalability of the EPBCS environment, supporting key planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes across the organization. Key Responsibilities: Manage the end-to-end administration of Oracle EPBCS, including metadata management, data integrations, business rules, security, and user provisioning. Lead enhancements and new development in EPBCS to support evolving business requirements across Finance, FP&A, and operational departments. Partner with Finance and IT stakeholders to optimize planning and forecasting cycles, improve reporting accuracy, and streamline user experience. Serve as the subject matter expert for EPBCS functionality, configuration, and best practices. Design and maintain data integrations between EPBCS and source/target systems (e.g., ERP, data warehouses). Lead troubleshooting, testing, and validation of system changes, upgrades, and patches. Provide end-user training, documentation, and ongoing support to ensure adoption and effective use of the system. Oversee governance, security controls, and change management related to Oracle EPM environments. Stay current on Oracle EPM cloud updates, new features, and roadmap to ensure continued system optimization. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field; Master’s degree or MBA is a plus. 5+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle EPM solutions, with a strong focus on EPBCS (or PBCS), and Narrative Reporting. Proven experience in managing and enhancing enterprise planning systems in a corporate or consulting environment. Strong understanding of financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills. Ability to communicate effectively with finance and technical stakeholders at all levels. Preferred Skills: Experience with other Oracle EPM modules (e.g., EDMCS, FCCS, ARCS) or Oracle ERP Cloud. Familiarity with scripting and automation tools used in Oracle EPM (e.g., Groovy, Business Rules). Exposure to Agile or hybrid project management methodologies.
