Finance Director – Technology and Digital (ZTD) LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a highly capable and agile Finance Director (Contract) to provide interim coverage for our clients’ Enabling Functions finance team, with a strong focus on Technology & Digital (ZTD). This role is designed to support critical financial operations during a leave period, including month-end and year-end close, FP&A deliverables, and stakeholder engagement. The ideal candidate will bring strong accounting fundamentals, FP&A experience, and comfort working cross-functionally in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
Location: 100% Remote – ET Zone Hours
Compensation: $72.00 - $75.00 depending on experience

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Financial Operations & Close: Lead and execute period-end and year-end close activities for Tech & Digital functions
Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data
Collaborate with other finance leads to share close responsibilities (not solely responsible)
FP&A & Reporting: Prepare and deliver spend updates to leadership / conduct variance analysis and assist in forecasting
Create presentation-ready financial slides for executive reviews
Support ad hoc financial analysis related to investments (flexible based on capacity)
Stakeholder Engagement: Partner closely with the ZTD team and shadow finance/project management group
Participate in cross-functional meetings and provide financial insights
Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders across enabling functions
Systems & Tools: Work within SAP and Excel for reporting and analysis / Experience with Apptio is a plus, not required
Qualifications
7–10 years post-qualification experience in finance or accounting
Strong hands-on experience with month-end close and balance sheet reconciliation
Proficiency in Excel and SAP
Ability to work fully remote on East Coast hours
Comfort engaging with tech/digital functions and cross-functional teams
Preferred (Flexible)
CPA or MBA (preferred but not mandatory)
Experience in regulated industries or global matrixed organizations
Familiarity with capitalization of headcount and tech-related finance nuances
Prior leadership experience helpful but not required
