Brightside Cleaning Restoration Inc. is hiring a Fractional CFO with deep industry knowledge in insurance restoration or the contractor/construction sector. This part-time, strategic leadership role is ideal for an experienced financial expert who thrives in entrepreneurial environments and wants to shape the future of a high-growth, multi-division company. The CFO will oversee the financial infrastructure, drive profitability, and guide Brightside through scaling initiatives and potential exit strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead financial strategy, planning, and performance management across multiple service lines
  • Oversee job costing, budgeting, and profitability tracking tailored to insurance restoration workflows
  • Build and manage financial dashboards and KPIs for executive decision-making
  • Advise on capital allocation, private equity engagement, and funding strategies
  • Support compliance with financial regulations and implement internal controls
  • Prepare the business for scaling initiatives, potential mergers/acquisitions, or exit readiness
  • Collaborate closely with ownership and executive leadership to guide strategic direction
  • This is a long-term partnership opportunity

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of senior financial leadership experience, preferably as a CFO or equivalent role
  • Direct experience in the insurance restoration and/or construction/contractor industry
  • In-depth understanding of job costing, insurance claims billing, and profit margin analysis
  • Strong grasp of budgeting, forecasting, and financial systems integration
  • Experience preparing companies for rapid scale or exit/roll-up strategies
  • CPA, MBA, or similar financial credentials highly preferred
  • Self-starter with exceptional communication and strategic thinking skills
