Office location: Boston (hybrid, flexible) The Opportunity We’re looking for a strategic and consultative Global Account Director to join our Global Sales team in the U.S. This role is designed for a hands-on contributor who will own, grow, and expand a portfolio of U.S.-based enterprise accounts. You’ll partner with HR, L&D, and business leaders at some of the world’s largest organizations to connect English language training with broader talent and transformation priorities. This is a high-impact role at the center of a global, fast-growing EdTech company, focused on deepening client partnerships and driving measurable long-term value. Key Responsibilities Own and grow a portfolio of enterprise clients, accountable for retention, renewal, and expansion revenue. Build and nurture senior-level relationships across HR, L&D, Procurement, Operations, and business units; maintain trusted-advisor status with senior level champions and day-to-day program managers. Identify and convert upsell opportunities, proactively surfacing needs and aligning EF solutions to client priorities. Partner closely with CSMs and global colleagues to deliver seamless implementation and measurable outcomes. Develop and execute strategic account plans that drive retention, expansion, and measurable business impact Maintain disciplined pipeline and forecasting practices in Salesforce Stay informed on industry trends,buyer priorities, and competitive dynamics The Skills & Experience we look for 4-7 years of experience in strategic account management or enterprise sales, with proven responsibility for retention and expansion. Demonstrated success in growing complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise accounts and achieving revenue targets. Skilled in consultative planning and value-based storytelling, capable of aligning EF’s solutions with client agendas. Strong relationship builder with ability to navigate multiple layers of stakeholders. Adept at account planning, forecasting, and risk management with disciplined, data-driven practices.
