The Opportunity
We’re looking for an experienced and driven Global Account Director to join our Global Sales team in the U.S. This role is designed for a hands-on a contributor who can win, own, and grow a portfolio of U.S.-based enterprise accounts. You’ll partner with HR, L&D, and business leaders at some of the world’s largest organizations to connect English language training with broader talent and transformation priorities. This is a high-impact, new business-focused role at the center of a global, fast-growing EdTech company.
Key Responsibilities
Drive new business by identifying, engaging, and winning strategic U.S.-based enterprise accounts Own and grow a portfolio of clients, with a focus on upsell and long-term value creation Lead strategic, multi-stakeholder sales cycles: uncovering business needs, shaping tailored value propositions, and driving deals from first conversation to close Deliver compelling, insight-led proposals and presentations tailored to HR, L&D, procurement, and senior leadership Collaborate with global colleagues to scale partnerships and support program delivery from beachhead markets Develop and execute strategic account plans that drive retention, expansion, and measurable business impact Maintain disciplined pipeline and forecasting practices in Salesforce Stay informed on industry trends, buyer priorities, and competitive dynamics
The Skills & Experience We Look For
7+ years of experience owning complex, consultative, end-to-end B2B sales cycles with enterprise clients Proven ability to land new business and expand strategic accounts Strong commercial instincts and ability to build programs that drive measurable impact Skilled in stakeholder influence, solution storytelling, and value-based selling Experience developing account plans and managing long-cycle opportunities Background in learning technology, professional services, or working with HR/L&D buyers is a plus
