International Corporate Controller - Boston MA - SaaS Our team is working with a leading venture-funded SaaS company looking to hire a Global Corporate Controller for their growing team. The Controller will be responsible for all accounting, financial reporting, tax, and compliance functions. You will lead daily accounting activities and play a critical role in optimizing financial performance and strategic decision-making with leadership and stakeholders. Experience with IFRS reporting and international teams is preferred. Responsibilities: Lead, mentor, and manage a global team, ensuring adherence to accounting policies and best practices. Oversee global accounting operations and close processes, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and local standards such as IFRS and tax regulations. Review and approve financial reports for management and stakeholders, ensuring clarity and accuracy. Manage the financial audit process, coordinating with external auditors to meet deadlines. Ensure proper revenue recognition under ASC 606 for SaaS income. Collaborate with sales and legal teams to review contracts for revenue recognition. Provide strategic insights on revenue recognition to finance and leadership. Develop and monitor internal controls to ensure reporting integrity and compliance. Manage global tax compliance, including VAT/GST, income tax, and transfer pricing, with external advisors. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (required). CPA strongly preferred. 10+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, ideally in high-growth B2B SaaS. Experience in multinational environments and familiarity with international standards. Strong knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and local GAAP. Proven leadership in managing global teams. Excellent communication skills for collaboration with global teams and executives. Proficiency in Excel and financial tools, with experience analyzing large data sets. Experience with systems like ADP, Expensify, Tipalti, Salesforce, Cradle, and Carta. Experience with ERP systems and automation initiatives. This is a full-time hybrid role (3 days in-office, 2 days remote) offering up to $215K base salary, bonus, equity, and benefits.
