The EinStrong Foundation is a US based global non-profit organization that empowers all individuals to participate in initiatives to address climate change, poverty, and social inequality. EinStrong Foundation uniquely executes these efforts through a proprietary app called ESi - the EinStrong ID. ESi Mom program utilizes the EinStrong ID platform to provide Conditional Basic Income (CBI) to single mothers with children living in poverty worldwide. We are seeking a purpose-driven and mission-aligned Global Head of ESi Mom Program to: 1) scale this program to single mothers globally, and 2) continuously improve this program to be the most effective method in the world to eliminate poverty for single mothers and to educate their children.
Position summary
The Global Head of ESi Mom Program will lead the strategic development, implementation, and scaling of the ESi Mom program worldwide. This senior leadership role requires a visionary leader with extensive experience in global program management, humanitarian aid, and gender-focused program development. The Global Head will oversee operations, partnerships, and impact evaluation, ensuring the program’s alignment with the Einstrong Foundation’s mission to maximize the use of our technology to scalably and efficiently break the cycle of intergenerational poverty while empowering single mothers to build a brighter future for their family.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership and Program Expansion: Develop and execute a global strategy to expand the ESi Mom program to new regions, identifying high-need communities and establishing scalable frameworks for implementation.
- Program Management: Oversee all aspects of the ESi Mom program, including cash transfer systems, biometric verification processes, and partnerships with local stores and stakeholders, ensuring operational efficiency and integrity.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with international donors, governments, NGOs, and community leaders to secure funding and support, targeting high-net-worth individuals and large non-profits for donations exceeding $500,000.
- Impact Evaluation and Reporting: Design and implement monitoring and evaluation systems to assess program outcomes, particularly related to child education, maternal empowerment, and economic self-reliance, and present data-driven reports to stakeholders.
- Team Leadership: Manage a global team of program coordinators, finance, and technology teams, fostering a collaborative environment while ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Advocacy and Representation: Serve as the global ambassador for the ESi Mom program, representing the Einstrong Foundation at international conferences, donor meetings, and media engagements to raise awareness and advocate for single mothers’ needs.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in international development, public policy, social work, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years in leadership roles within international non-profits or for-profit organizations, humanitarian aid, or gender-focused development programs, with at least 5 years managing global initiatives. Candidates who do not have prior non-profit experience are encouraged to apply.
- Skills: Proven expertise in scaling programs in low-resource settings, particularly in refugee or marginalized communities. Strong understanding of Conditional Basic Income models and their application in poverty alleviation. Excellent relationship-building skills with diverse stakeholders, including donors, governments, and local communities. Proficiency in data analysis and impact evaluation. Knowledge or familiarity with mobile biometric ID and digital payment technologies is preferred. Excellent communication and public speaking skills, with fluency in English; additional languages are an asset.
