About the Opportunity: We’re hiring! We are currently looking for a Group Account Director to join our Data Driven Performance Team. This role will focus on building trusting relationships between clients and agency experts, primarily focused on CRM/Loyalty clients. The client services team ensures the successful delivery of projects while contributing to the overall growth of the business.
This role will focus on managing client relationships and project deliverables to ensure Iris is providing the highest level of service to our clients. Building and managing relationships with external client stakeholders is essential for success and critical to the ongoing success of our growing agency.
The Group Account Director will work closely with our experienced campaign managers, martech specialists and data scientists to lead efforts towards helping our clients achieve their business objectives. This is a client-facing role responsible for coordinating all aspects of client interaction and seeking out opportunities to provide additional value through enhanced services.

Responsibilities You will support one of our leading retained relationship clients
Serve as the key client contact and own long-term client relationships on 1-3 key client accounts, with account growth and development being a focus. This includes both serving as the key point of contact for our client relationship management as well as IAT strategic coordination.
Cultivate strategic business opportunities, building key relationships, team leadership and serving as a catalyst for growth among assigned accounts. Seek out opportunities to bring additional value to clients through expansion of service offerings.
Qualify client requests and develop agreed priorities by balancing level of effort and impact.
Lead the brief development process. Lead client briefing sessions and the development of Iris solution proposition. Then take part in the written and verbal creative brief in partnership with strategy counterparts. Lead client presentations, creative feedback, project implementation and scoping/budgeting, and evaluation.
Build trusted relationships with clients and colleagues, as a strategic advisor.
Represent the client internally; echoing client goals and business objectives in all deliverables and communication; ensuring that all deliverables exceed client expectations and enhance our reputation.
Develop effective data driven marketing solutions to help the client achieve their business objectives.
Manage client expectations with respect to scope of work and campaign status.
Schedule and lead regular and ad hoc meetings/calls/business reviews with clients.
Communicate account successes and issues/challenges/risks in a timely manner both internally and externally. This includes ongoing needs, as well as both internal and external business reviews.
Build and maintain trusting client relationships – be an integral part of the project delivery team and transform internal & external challenges into opportunities for growth.
Proactively pursue opportunities to improve the agency beyond your day-to-day responsibilities. Be energetic about what you do, take pride in your work, and be the one bringing new ideas to the team every week.
Required Skills/Experience 10 + years’ work experience
Ability to effectively communicate with clients in a highly professional manner
Evidence of effective client management and growth skillset.
Ability to coordinate with multiple clients and manage complex projects in a deadline-focused environment
Strong leadership skills, attention to detail and willingness to work outside the role as needed
Knowledge and skill with data, data management, data activation, particularly as it relates to CRM and performance media.
Experience on a retail account highly considered
Strong relationship management skills and ability to work collaboratively across multiple groups, both internally and externally
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment
Education Bachelor’s Degree (required)
